Resume of a travelling recreational fishing photographer and journalist

At work with my speedlights at the MaldivesBorn in Florence, Italy  August 8th 1962. Male, married with one daughter. Former Motocross Rider, Radio DJ and record company employee first at Polygram in Rome and Milan as promo manager and product manager, later in Spain as managing director at Edel's, a German Indipendent Label.

I now run my photography business through Photoshelter and my recreational fishing business through Caranx.net, a fishing site specialized in lure fishing techniques.

I'm fluent in Italian, Spanish and English and talk a bit of French as well.

As fishing journalist I have had the opportunity to travel to many different places around the planet: Alaska, Canada, Florida (North And Keys), Massachussetts, New England, California, Baja California, Costa Rica (Pacific), Mexico (Pacific and Caribbean), Midway Islands, Australia (eastern), Maldives, Spain,(including Canary Islands), Cabo Verde, Italy, UK, Ireland, Holland, Senegal, Cuba, Gabon, Panama, Madagascar, Ascension Island, Thailand, Malaysia, Andaman Islands, Azores, Oman, Guinea Bissau, Bermuda. 

My main job is to write about recreational fishing and provide the images for several different magazines around the world:

LA PESCA MOSCA & SPINNING and PESCA IN MARE in Italy

VOYAGES DE PECHE in France

ADVENTURE FISHING in the UK

SPORT FISHING in the US.

BLINKER and KUTTER & KUSTE in Germany

I'm currenly collaborating with two monthly photography magazines: Superfoto in Spain and Fotografia Reflex in Italy.
